More on Shrek and Shrek 2 director Andrew Adamson's alleged proclivity for "appropriating" from his writers. Says a former associate:

I [worked] on the now classic 1996 film Batman & Robin, on which Andrew Adamson was a mid-level VFX Supervisor. In every meeting in which he attended, I was amazed at his ability to repackage VFX major domo [name redacted]'s ideas and suggestions as his own.

I kept wondering to myself "how the f*** did this clueless, second-rate [dude] get this gig anyway?" Now I can only marvel at his ability to turn a handful of computer graphics catch phrases into a directing career. Just incredible. As amusing as it was to watch him flounder whenever a serious production question was posed directly to him, I find no humor in his newfound habit of taking credit for the work of the writers. For shame. Let's hope the staff of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe are sufficiently protected.

All of our happy delusions about the world of animation are coming crashing down. How depressing We're even starting to think that if we hold out our finger, a bluebird won't land on it!
