I'm so glad there's the potential for a Bill Murray Best Actor speech at the Oscars. From his acceptance at the Golden Globes: "You can all relax...I fired my agents a couple of months ago. My physical trainer killed himself. And I would thank the people at Universal and Focus Features, but there are so many people trying to take credit for this, I wouldn't know where to begin."

They were rolling in the aisles. Now, that speech is kind of less funny — or more funny, perhaps — since it's quite possibly all true. Rick Kurtzman is reportedly Mr. Murray's ex-agent, and Raphael Picaud, celebrity trainer, is, well, recently dead by causes publicly unstated. Maybe everyone who knows Murray had better watch their step from now til Oscar night.
how dare that pesky political process steal hollywood's thunder! [the blueprint]
