LA.com's Laurie Pike blogs about last night's LA Film Fest party for DIG!, the documentary about the rivalry between the Brian Jonestown Massacre and the Dandy Warhols. The showing was predictably littered with hipsters (but who did we expect to be there, the Octogenarian Blue Plate Special Club from Nibblers?), and Pike rips them a new set of holes for their ironic t-shirts:

Overheard in the line outside: “Dude you need to get down here, it’s the party for this movie that like won at Sundance. Yeah, some band from the movie’s playing.” Inside, desperately glamorous ignorami scarfed down free vodka. The music line-up included “some band from the movie”—hi, the The Dandy Warhols—in their only US date scheduled this year...The crowd thinned pretty quickly, leaving Jeppe from Junior Senior to hold court on the smoking patio while the hipsters scrambled for free posters and copies of Fader magazine.

Wow, Laurie, better break out those leg warmers and go undercover the next time you come over to Silver Lake.
