A couple of reports from area stalkers of The OC's stars, letting us know how the kids are spending their summer vacation. Part One, "Fucking and Fighting," starring pouty. doe-eyed breadstick Mischa Barton:

Saw Mischa Barton and her supposedly-they're-breaking-up boyfriend at the crazy Flaunt magazine party @ Spider Club yesterday. They talked about Modest Mouse, yelled at each other and then sucked face. It was pretty much everything you'd want out of the two of them!

Our memory of the last OC season is a little fuzzy, but if you throw in a fist fight and a tumble into a pool, wasn't this the plot of every episode?

Part Two, "Sweaty Celebs Can't Stand The Heat," starring real-life couple/ubiquitous hipster scene impresarios Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson.

Last night, Adam Brody, Rachel Bilson and another couple (which might have included the diminutive lead singer of Rooney but I'm not sure) came into Fred 62. Any hipster worth his salt knows that Fred's doesn't have air conditioning, so on a summer night it can get pretty hot in there. Well, I guess these kids weren't down with that, and only stayed about five minutes before finding someplace else to eat. Brody was surprisingly small.

Maybe our reader is getting Brody and Bilson mixed up? You know how couples start to look alike after spending a lot of time denying that they're actually in a relationship while showing up at every indie rock show in the city.

By the way, Modest Mouse is playing at the Wiltern tonight. Anyone snapping cam-phone pictures of an OC star will be celebrated in this space.
