In the interest of clearing up some of the rumors regarding the supposed acquisition of APA by just about every second-tier agency in town, we grant equal time to a high-level representative of the firm, who wrote in to clear things up for Defamer's readers (for real).

I, David Saunders, Executive Vice President of APA, speaking on behalf of the board of directors, categorically deny that we have been purchased or are even in any discussions whatsoever regarding being purchased at this time. These are completely false rumors with no basis in fact. I hope this sets the record straight. Thanks for letting me respond officially.

Well, that certainly was a lot more pleasant than the response we got about the Endeavor rumor from the official Agent Dance mascot, that little picture of Endeavor's Ari Emanuel.
