A reader elaborates on a mention of the Bruce Willis flick Hostage in the Variety article about Miramax's updated release schedule (which we linked to earlier):

"Currently undated is the Bruce Willis starrer "Hostage," which Miramax acquired from Bob Yari's Stratus Film Co."

They don't seem to be in any rush to release the new Bruce Willis movie, either, and it wrapped in April. Major bad news for Bob, who financed it all himself. And it was not cheap.

"Currently undated" is starting to smell a little like "straight-to-video." Maybe Bruce should take a break from doing the Roger Rabbit in a gay German disco and get on the phone with his agents before he winds up on a Blockbuster shelf next to Jean-Claude Van Damme?
