Magazine Mascot Deathmatch

The new issue of Esquire reintroduces readers to a face that may have been familiar to their dapper granddads: Esky, Esquire's hyperthyroidal mascot. This month, he's been reborn as part of the magazine's first annual "Esky Music Awards." (Sorry, Charlie: No Stones here.)
Seeing old Esky again got us to thinking about other magazines' mascots. More specifically, who would win in a fight: Esky or The New Yorker's Eustace Tilley?
A quick perusal of Esquire's cover gallery reveals that Esky has mastered a number of sports from boxing to skiing and he seems to have served a stint in the army. He also tamed a lion! But Eustace Tilley is occasionally ripped and quite agile.
We'll call it a tie.
After the jump, who would win: Vanity Fair's mascot, Dominick Dunne, or The National Review's, Jonah Goldberg?

Too close to call.
