We were reading Joe Hagan's column in the Observer today, but we got stuck on the first few sentences:

Tick, tick, tick, tick...

Tick.

Precious. You see, this is Hagan's last column for the pink paper. He's starting at the Wall Street Journal on May 2nd, where he'll be covering the media beat, posing for hedcuts, and sending poisoned fruit baskets to Keith Kelly.

Given his exit, you have to admire the not-so-subtle projection in his farewell piece.
