On Tuesday, a grand jury handed down 106 felony indictments in the Waco, Texas, biker shootout that left nine people dead and 18 wounded, the New York Times reports. Central Texas prosecutors say they will seek to indict the rest of the 177 people arrested that day.

The defendants are accused of engaging in organized criminal activity, the with the underlying offenses alleged to be murder and assault, the Waco Tribune reports. Of the 106 indictments, nine were sealed, because the defendants had not yet been arrested. 80 bikers’ cases remain to be considered, McLennan County District Clerk Jon Gimble said

“This is just the beginning of what is an ongoing, continuing investigation,” McLennan County District Attorney Abel Reyna wrote on Facebook. “Eventually, all 177 cases will be put before this McLennan County grand jury.”

One defense attorney, Paul Looney, a Houston lawyer representing Cody Ledbetter, a Waco mechanic who was freed on bond over the summer, told the Times his client would “absolutely” plead not guilty, and that he and other lawyers in the case will press for a speedy trial. In response to the indictments, Looney said, “What I would characterize it as you couldn’t print.”

The Tribune published a list of those indicted, as well as the shootout’s victims:

Bikers killed during the shootout include Daniel Raymond Boyett, 44, of Waco; Wayne Lee Campbell, 43, of Fort Worth; Richard Matthew Jordan II, 31, of Pasadena; Richard Vincent Kirschner Jr., 47, of Wylie; and Jacob Lee Rhyne, 39, of Ranger.

Also killed were Jesus Delgado Rodriguez, 65, of New Braunfels; Manuel Issac Rodriguez, 40, of Allen; Charles Wayne Russell, 48, of Tyler; and Matthew Mark Smith, 27, of Keller.

“We are not done,” Reyna told the Tribune. “We still have a lot of work to do. We will continue to do that. My office is dedicated, as is the team, to seeing that justice is done in all those cases.”
