More on Foer: He's Spawning!
This is why we should be reading the Houston Chronicle more closely:
Literary hotshot Jonathan Safran Foer has canceled his Inprint Brown Reading Series appearance Jan. 23 at the Alley Theatre. He and novelist-wife Nicole Krauss have a previous engagement — with the stork.
Foer and Krauss apparently just learned that they're expecting, said Inprint executive director Rich Levy. Due date: last week in January. Unhappy timing for Houston.
The worst part: This was in Saturday's paper, and we didn't catch word till today.
We're so disappointed in ourselves.
