Friday afternoon,8/12, 2:30pm, shopping at Saks, I saw Angelina Jolie with her new baby, Zahara. Angelina looked gorgeous, her hair was a little blonder and she did look really skinny although not as tall as I had expected. She was wearing black heels, blue jeans and a black top (couldn't tell if she had a pregnant belly because she was carrying the baby in a bjorn). She was shopping with an older woman (mom? personal assistant?) and a bodyguard. But she was very nice to everyone who came up to her and autographed many Saks receipts. Unfortunately, Brad (and Maddox) were nowhere in sight.

Saw Jane Pratt having breakfast at pastis this am 8/12. My friend and I started taking bets (quietly, I thought) as to how long the magazine would last without her. When we got up to leave, we realized her dining companion was none other than her successor Brandon Holley. I guess we weren t as discreet as we thought b/c Brandon shot us a look that would kill.

Attended a small piano concert at the Frick Collection yesterday (8/10) and saw the very tall Nicole Kidman sitting in the back. She was dressed casually in a summer dress with a tiny jean jacket, flats, no make-up and glasses. She did, however, have very made-up hair. It was almost white blond and arranged in perfect, stiff curls that looked like they would have withstood a hurricane. The combination of the perfect blond do, plus her ghostly white skin made her stand out in the crowd.

I saw Eva Longoria across from Trump Tower on Aug 12. She was wearing a maroon tiered skirt, white tank top, a belt and an expensive bag, possibly Marni, carrying a plastic shopping bag. The paparazzi was chasing her down. She went into the Ritz Hotel. Very cute and short. I wouldn't have noticed her if I didn't see the paprazzi snapping away.

Last night, August 11th, Brandon Davis trying to catch a cab on 57th between 1st and 2nd with two guys and a hot blond girl. He eventually walked to 2nd ave where he caught one with the guys but said goodbye to the girl.

At the corner of 30th and 7th on Wednesday 8/10, about 4:30pm, my friend and I both got checked out by this dorky-looking guy, with a backpack and baseball cap on. As we made eye contact, I realized it was Matthew Broderick! We squealed in glee all the way up 7th.

Today, 8/11 at around 3pm, I saw Sam Rockwell, at the corner pastry shop of 10th & 1st Ave, checking out hot Asian chick right in front of him. He was Wearing a catch-phrasing green distracting shirt that says Little Fu**er!

Spotted Vincent D'onofrio at the CVS located right outside the Christopher Street subway station. He's easily 6'5", sporting fatigue cargo shorts and t-shirt. Shocking to see that he actually is aging a bit and is not the fresh faced killer he once was in Full Metal Jacket.

On 8/10 I saw Spike Lee eating lunch at Taste Of Tokyo on wall street. He was sitting there with some guy with a turban...They've been filming a movie around here for the last couple of weeks. People where ignoring him and he wasn't too happy with it..On my way out I way out I said "hi spike" and he's like "YO"*

Saw John Turturro walking up Broadway in the 50's the other night (8/10) as I was leaving the office. He was talking on a cell phone, and has more gray hair than I would have expected.

Yesterday night, 8/10 at 9:30 at night I saw James Remar aka Richard from "Sex and the City", at D'Agostinos 1st Avenue and 54 Street. He was dressed in a grey cutup sweatshirt and shorts. His face has a weathered look to it, but from behind he looks really young (I ran to stand behind him in the check out line) He had sort of surfer dude hair. Chin length with a slight flip to it with blond streaks. Not at all like the dark slicked back look he wore as Richard. He said hello to some of the workers while he stared at The National Enquirer - the one with awful plastic surgery on the cover. He seemed laid back, totally unpretentious. He even asked to use his D'Ag discount card which he left at home. They said they needed his home number which he gave in his deep voice. What he bought? 2 bananas and half gallon of Paul Newmans Lemonade. Oh by the way, a few minutes after he got home someone called him and hung up.

Spotted Matt Lauer 8/5 on 64th & Lex. Noticed it was him from the beaky nose peaking out from beneath his aviator sunglasses. He got out of the car and walked across the street to an apartment building where two doormen acknowledged him. Next thing I know, a little boy (a mini mix of Matt and Annette) runs out to Matt and jumps into his arms. Matt, in his outfit of tight blue jeans with a blue oxford shirt tucked in (way dorky, but the guy's still good lookin), carries his son to the car, buckles the boy in to the child seat in back, and gets ready to drive off. Looked like they were headed for a father/son trip.

I saw Paige Davis from Trading Spaces (formerly, I guess) on the 1 train. She got on at 96th and got off at 79th (I think). She was talking to this tall, kind of good-looking guy. And she kind of fell on him when the train stopped. She was really bouncy and smiley, like on the show. It didn't seem fake, which surprised me because I always thought she was from the show. She seemed kind of nice, actually. I don't know if anyone on the train noticed her except me.

Had the pleasure of serving jury duty this week, and who was in my pool but Anthony Rapp of "Rent" fame. He's extremely pale in real life, and wore a cool t-shirt and not-so-cool cropped cargo pants both days. Like everyone else, he was just sitting quietly and waiting, waiting, waiting.

8/11 approx. 4pm Andre 3000 (or Andre Benjamin as he's now going by in that wretched 'Four Brothers' preview) strolling placidly in front of the Time Warner center at Columbus Circle. Flying solo and looking sharp in a Hamptons-esque get-up including white pants and a nautically-inspired polo shirt.

saw Kurt Loder at the 16th st and 8th ave new york city sports club wed 8/10. Looked hungover and could barely benchpress. His face was so stretched even the strain of the legpress couldn't evince emotion.

I saw Isaac Mizrahi man-prancing down 55th Street b/t 5th & 6th Aves yesterday (8/10). He was wearing a nice gray suit with some kind of open-toed sandals on and was, literally, skipping hurriedly towards his destination.
