Pat Kiernan made an interesting point while reading us the newspaper this morning:

You know, I've been wrestling with this story all morning — this next one, about the owner of a Tasti D-Lite shop who was shot. Cause they call it ice cream. You can't call it ice cream. They call it ice cream in the headline, because we all call it ice cream, but it's not really ice cream. It's Tasti D-Lite, which is some other product. Anyway, it happened about 10 o'clock last night, just as the papers were hitting their deadlines.

And we're sure the shopkeeper would be thrilled to discuss these semantic quibbles with you, Pat. Except for one thing, which you may not have noticed: The dude was shot several times in the chest last night.

So could he maybe get back to you on that?
