Ah, the good ol' Department of Homeland Security:

Two federal officials suspected of telling friends and relatives about a possible terror threat on the New York City subways before the threat was made public have been stripped of their security clearance pending an investigation, officials with the Department of Homeland Security and the Coast Guard said yesterday.

Because a responsible public official would simply allow his son to be incinerated underground in a dirty-bomb attack.

Well, if the threat were credible, that is. (Or specific? Whatever.)
