10/20 — So, there I am watching the typical "show" the topshelf waitresses put on at Ciprianis on the bar, complete with various patrons pushing $100 bills in various netherplaces, when I notice one overzealous chap first run his hand all the way up one vixen's leg, then actually attempt to stick his head between her thighs!!! She playfully, yet forcefully, pushed his head out of the way and when he turned around it was none other than your friendly-neighborhood rapist, Mike Tyson. Like a child that had been scolded he turned away and held his head low until said temptress gave him a kiss on the cheek and told him it was OK. Later at Bungalow, with his Maybach parked in front, Mike appeared to have adjusted his medication such that he was very friendly to anyone who spoke to him and posed for many a photo.

Spotted Lindsay Lohan & co. in a non-descript Starbucks on Long Island (Merrick, so be exact) on Christmas Eve. Standing behind her on line, I immediately noticed her because of her non-LI outfit — an oversized hooded sweater, black leggings, Chanel scarf and watch, 80s flat black leather boots and a purple velvet newsboy-style hat. I confirmed the sighting when I finally got up to the cash register to order and saw her face — which was a fake-tan orange — and her black American Express card with "Lindsay Lohan" emblazoned below the logo. She was with her red-headed brother (or so I assume — Lindsay seemed affectionate with him and he looked about 10) and a female companion with a Boston College sweatshirt. She was a little taller than expected, attractive and seemingly unconcerned with being gawked at.

Saw Drew Barrymore at Cosi by Union Square ordering a signature salad (no dressing, no cranberries) to go. She looked very cute, skin was beautiful and glowing, and was wearing cute and colorful winter gear. She was very polite to the staff.

today (friday 12/22) just as i decided to give in to my craving for some of city bakery's hot chocolate, who should i run into leaving but a solo ms. demi moore! she's a lot shorter than i thought she would be, and was wearing a hideous puffy green coat. i definitely wouldn't have recognized her had it not been for her "look at me, i'm important" sunglasses. she is polite, though. she said thanks as i held the door open for her.

Friday 10.23: Double sighting! First I saw Natalie Portman walking down E. 6th between 1st and 2nd with I'm guessing was her boyfriend. Very deep in conversation, dressed in typical East Village fashion. Her hair is growing in nicely, but she was wearing sunglasses on a cloudy day. Oh those crazy movie stars, they can run but they can't hide. Then, I saw Rachel Dratch from SNL on Irving Place. She was wearing sweats and was pretty missable.

On 12/20 saw Matthew Broderick exiting Barneys with older, paunchier companion. Forget about the down low. . he was rockin' a bright orange parka and seemed amused.

Thurs. 12/22 perf. of Abigail's Party, saw Cynthia Nixon in the lobby afterwards with a group of women. Don't know what the gf looks like so can't say whether she was there. Average height, very thin, flawless skin and God's own cheekbones. Seemed pretty nice, too. Happy you know, holidays.

My sister and I saw Liza Minnelli (we took a photo with her, bah! the infantile love) on 57th and Lexington. We were totally uncool, losing our shit all over the corner. At first, we were afraid of her fracturing our skulls, but then again, hey! if anbody hits my precious head, it better be Liza's famous knuckle sandwich. She was totally nice, and although we are in our 20s, she called us "kids" (coincidently, she smelled just like my Grandma). She was with her brother and they were both puny. We really liked her, though. Anywho, hooray for Liza and of course Happy Birthday Jesus!Only in New York, baby!!! Only in New York...

Susan Sarandon coming out of the pet store (the one with the puppies in the window) on 6th Ave between 11th & 12th. With teen boy, presumably her son. Lovely eyes, just as striking in real life as she is in movies.

Just saw Judy Miller herself, live and in the flesh. Walking down 66th street towards Central Park West. Never would've pegged her to look the part of the cokehead socialite but she was very well dressed and VERY skinny. Sporting the same ol' bob and heavy bangs. Dowd is way hotter.

Ran into Glenn Close at Terra Blues on Bleeker Street last week. She's about 5'2" How do they make her look so tall in the movies?

At the USAir terminal at La Guardia airport on Christmas Eve Day, Paul Schafer of The Late Show With David Letterman. He was with his wife and two kids, a boy and a girl, and I seemed to be the only one to notice.

Just saw Mila Kunis of That 70's Show and Family Guy "fame" doing last-minute holiday shopping at Shakespeare and Co. in the Village. She looked just like she does on TV (or at least from what I remember from the last time I watched That 70's Show five years ago), and was dressed like any other short NYU girl, with a possibly-gay hipster boy in tow. They left with four bags full of books, which deserves some credit for promoting literacy. After she left the clerks were all talking about how she comes in there a lot. You'd think that she'd pick better scripts if she does so much reading.

this is more of a gawker walker sighting. saw a doddering walter cronkite near today show studio at rock center. no sight of katie couric in home health aid uniform..

saw huey lewis spreading the news to bebe neuwirth at pastis, thurs night 12/22 ... are those two an item or is it just a 'we're both on broadway, lets hang out together' thing? have to admit, she looked pretty damn hot ..love those cougars!

My ladyfriend spotted Rob Corddry (Daily Show senior correspondent) on Court Street in Cobble Hill today, right in front of the Starbucks. I missed it. Wearing an OD green winter coat and talking on his cell phone. The direct quote: "It was definitely mechanical.

Saw Mike Myers yesterday (12/20) at Tea and Sympathy in the West Village with 3 friends. He looked very grumpy the entire time. Couldn't see what he was eating, but about halfway through the meal a very loud and obnoxious cell phone rang, getting everyone's attention. He scrambled to get it, and apologized to everyone for the disturbance. Still looked grumpy, with a silly fur hat with ear flaps when he left.

I was at a the bar "Encore" hanging out with my buddies and caught some Karaoke. Much to my surprise it was Lizzie Grubman and her entourage. I did find them entertaining and the blonde in the white was very hot! They were opening up gifts, maybe it was a Christmas party. Lizzie was singing her heart out to "She's a Rich Girl." I went for a beer and got a whole lot more! When are they bringing the Power Girls back so I can see more of that hot Blonde that works for Lizzie? Encore for more!

Saw Red Hot Chilli Peppers Anthony Kiedis with Supermodel Jessica Stam looking at an apartment with Jared Seligman (18 year old real estate agent with Citi-Habitats) on 12th st between 3rd and 4th avenue on Tuesday the 20th.

12/20: Saw my favorite jarhead, Peter Saarsgard, buying a hacksaw at Gerber's hardware store on Greenwich and W. 10th, and wondered whether Maggie G. would still be in one piece later that afternoon. Wanted to tell him that I "saw" him in The Dying Gaul or ask if he was there to repair some shattered glass, but I had no desire to lose my dignity, or if unlucky, a couple fingers.

Hey, I don t know if I m incredibly amused or incredibly embarrassed about this one, but here goes anyway. Walking up 8th Avenue on the way to Penn Station at about 745 pm on Wednesday night and who should I pass but Home Improvement s Randy Taylor himself, the now-obscure one-time-darling of the C-list Jonathan Taylor Thomas. He is, as one might imagine, very wee. Kind of tan and plastic, but terrifyingly wholesome. Looks exactly as you would imagine. He was calmly chatting with some cute tall blond girl in her early twenties as they strolled down towards the gayborhood. Totally fucking surreal.

I saw Damon Dash and his pseudo-designer wife at the Guggenheim Ball last Thursday night. She is Kimora-Lee Simmons huge. Damon was trying to chat up the PYTs whenever the ball and chain was not looking. But the apparently he has lost his touch bc the socialites were walking away from him mid-sentence. He looked like he lost a bet and someone made him wear Erkel-like glasses. Hideous.

saw Coach (aka craig t. nelson) and sarah jessica parker for half a second last night at broadway and 11th. she looked triangular, like a christmas tree, really bundled up in a fur coat but with bare legs. she also had so much eye makeup on she looked asian. (offensive?) coach looked like coach. at first i thought "you're hallucinating, what are the odds that coach is hanging out with carrie bradshaw," but then a friend reminded me they're in "The Family Stone" together and were probably doing publicity.

Early Sunday morning (12/18) while catching the 9:14 train to Trenton at Penn Station to go home for a Hanukkah party, I found myself boarding next to Richard Kind, who most recently played Larry David's cousin Andy on Curb Your Enthusiasm. He looked disheveled, confused and tired. His skin was pale as snow and he was carrying the Sunday Times in a messy pile with both hands. I unfortunately forgot to mention to him that his cousin was the former president of my synagogue, and that she never liked me when I was a kid.

Saw Andy Samberg (cute!) and Fred Armisen (glasses) at the Spin holiday party. We Are Scientists played - hot lead singer. Inexplicably, Martha Plimpton was there with cute, super short, blonde hair.
