Ah, there's nothing we enjoy more than emails promoting pretentious, bottle-service parties that also include some political commentary (bold added):

You heard it here first!

The New Year has come upon us, and with that a great beginning tonight once again my favorite party Wednesdays @ Suede will be crazy with a lot of my friends home for the holidays celebrating a guaranteed hit!..

Quote of the week...this is something I got from the Newspaper Opinion page, while I don't like to mix politics this was too good...

As the New Year Dawns President Bush is telling us the nation can spend hundreds of billions of dollars on pork- barrel projects, additional tens of billions on Gulf Coast Reconstruction, more billions on our war efforts and still keep cutting taxes with a chain saw on the wealthiest Americans..yeah right...

Anyways..tonight @ Suede

At the same time, we prefer our political commentary when it's not incoherent. But, then again, it seems we have only the Newspaper Opinion page to blame for that.
