In this edition of the Stalk: Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, Julianna Margulies, Bernadette Peters, Elizabeth Berkley, Phil Collins, The Wilson Brothers, an Olsen twin, Gwyneth Paltrow, Susan Sarandon, Dave Grohl, Michael Imperioli, Al Gore, Tom Brokaw, Elijah Wood, Colin Quinn, Michel Gondry, Vanessa Minnillo, Owen Wilson again, Bryan Greenberg, Josh Lucas, Raekwon from Wu-Tang, Anthony Michael Hall, Alan Rickman, Ice Cube, Ted Danson, Charles Osgood, Al Sharpton, and, last but not least, the indefatigable Jesse Palmer.

Saw Nicole Kidman Sunday afternoon at a performance of The Little Dog Laughed at Second Stage Theatre a play which is about, ahem, a gay-but-closeted Hollywood movie star and the lengths he ll has to go to in order to keep his homosexuality a secret. I couldn t help staring at her and wondering what she was thinking! Any of this sound familiar? She was one of the last people to be seated, so she walked in front of the whole audience to take her seat I must say, she s completely stunning, even dressed casually and wearing glasses.

Went to the Saturday night performance of The Little Dog Laughed at Second Stage Theatre and saw the strangest mix of celebrities: Uma Thurman, Julianna Margulies, Bernadette Peters, Elizabeth Berkley and, of all people... Mr. Phil Collins. I sat right near Uma, who was tall and gorgeous, and she was laughing through the whole show...so I guess she didn't mind all the biting commentary on Hollywood! But honestly, I was most excited to see my 80s music hero Phil during intermission...

Saw Luke and Owen Wilson, brothers-in-arms, cozied on a couch at AER Saturday night. Luke was of a formidable size in what looked like a sailing sweater, navy blue with thin white stripes and, my goodness the man has some jowls on him. Perhaps too much drinking? He looked distinctly uncomfortable and in serious conversation with an African-American femme next to him, who looked to be his friend. In the meantime, Playful Owen was playing his part, cavorting with a leggy, vested and utterly gorgeous blonde, who eventually ended up lying down (sleep position) in his lap, and turning her head to kiss him. He was laughing and joking, and was distinctly low key in a windbreaker and baseball cap. His smile is astoundingly sexy, as were his eyes, from what little I could see under his cap. Neither danced. Owen left sans blondie, and Luke shifted from his couch to the arm of a chair to the couch at least forty times.

I saw Mary-Kate Olsen at Galaxy Deli on 10th street and 3rd ave. around 10:30 pm tonight. She was wearing a fur jacket, black leggings, black platform high heels, a big gold ring and a silvery snake ring, and a black sunhat-shaped hat made of velvet or felt. She's actually pretty, with a heart-shaped face. She was at the cash register taking her sweet time picking out lots of candy: Twizzlers, Starburst, Tootsie Rolls. She kept talking about the Tootsie Rolls to the chubby, fey boy she was with. He said something about kids from his acting class to which she responded with a comment that I didn't catch, but the inflection in her voice is what I like to call the slack-jaw-ennui-up-talk. Then he said sarcastically: "You're getting cold-hearted in your old age." One or both of them smelled like booze.

Two sightings this past week. Was in front of Gwyneth Paltrow in a stream of people leaving the Apple store in Soho; I'm terrible at identifying celebrities so I thought it might have just been a pretty, makeup-free lookalike, but then someone else saw her in Soho that day, so I'm convinced it was her. Luckily I'm polite and made sure she had the door; otherwise I would have swung it in her face.

For the second time in 3 months, I had a Susan Sarandon sighting. We were having a lovely brunch at Danal when my boyfriend kicked my leg to announce her arrival behind me. Oh, I also saw Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters with a beautiful woman at a bar in the West Village. He's so rockstar cute.

Saw Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli at the Union Square Barnes & Noble on Monday, 1/16. Looked like he was with his two kids, who he was dragging by the hand up the escalator to the kids' books floor (or perhaps he proceeded up to the magazines to read up on Angelina's pregnancy) One of the kids seemed to be trying to untangle himself from his blue scarf. Michael looked like he does on the show: in desperate need of some Drea De Matteo lovin'.

I saw Al Gore walking out of Alain Ducasse at the Essex House last Thursday 1/12.

Saw Tom Brokaw at Jersey Boys Tuesday night with his wife. He looked like a normal guy out for a night at the theater.

Elijah Wood, Mr. Frodo, checking out whatever band was playing around midnight at Fontana's last Friday. Then seen outside the bar talking with the band after the show. Very weird band, but he seemed into it.

Last Wednesday, I was walking past Groove on 3rd St in the Village and I saw Colin Quinn walk out of it. Thinking he was walking in the other direction, I pointed to him and told my friend that he was a "famous comedian" but I couldn't remember his name. I began brainstorming ("Colin...Farrell? No...Firth...No") out loud and then started badmouthing his show, calling him something like "a ridiculously right wing nut" when I decided to look behind me. Not three feet away is Mr. Quinn walking in the rain with his hood on, not looking very happy. Needless to say, I hyperventilated and ran down 6th Avenue.

I saw Michel Gondry at Mo Pitkin's last night (Jan. 16) and proceeded to get more starstruck than I have ever been before. The other day, I had just finished watching his DVD collection of music videos and whatnot, so I recognized him right away. I gaped and blurted out, "hi!" and he smiled and said, "Hi?" back in a confused kind of way. After the comedy show, he was standing alone for a moment so I went up to him and shook his hand and talked for like, five seconds. He was so charming and self-effacing and all-around nice, even though I was drunk.

Level V, Vanessa Minnillo, the MTV VJ and former/current Derek Jeter fling her skin is flawless; Owen Wilson, who is not a sneeze over 5'6", was wearing a hat, and snuck out early; and I think the guy Bryan Greenberg from that Uma Thurman movie Prime, he was there with Owen. He was with a boring-looking blond girl. Also Josh Lucas and the entire cast of Glory Road was there. He had his shirt unbuttoned with chest hair puffing out and was making a catcall noise at me as I left. Awkward. His chauffeur, who was also driving some of the other guys in the movie, talked to them and then invited me to go with them to some late night thing. I declined. Josh gave a homeless guy a ton of cash, but wasn t talking to anyone. He is ridiculously hot.

Sunday night, 1/15 at PM, Rae-Kwon of Wu Tang Clan fame. Too loud to hear him say if that was his name. Everyone else seemed really excited. We exchanged numbers.

On Saturday 1/14/06 I saw Anthony Michael Hall (of 80s teen flicks with Molly Ringwald and more recently of The Dead Zone fame) walking east on 44th street. He had the trademark Dead Zone intense glare and seemed to be on a mission. Not very impressive in person kind of short (I am 5 6 and could not have been more than 5 8 ), pasty white with really bad skin. Someone should forward some Proactiv to him.

I saw Alan Rickman in the John Barrett salon above Bergdorf's on January 18th. He was tall, distinguished, with that intense, slightly squinty gaze of his and head full of gray hair (although still surprising not to see him in black-haired Snape mode). I think he was waiting for someone rather than getting his hair done himself...he looked rather bored in the salon, and no one seemed to bother him.

Just spotted Ice Cube chillin' in the lobby of the W-Union Square. He was sitting by the window reading his email on some Blackberry-type device. Requisite scowl was in place.

Went into the Burrittoville in the W. Village on Monday and as I was waiting in line w/ my friend when we both noticed Ted Danson sitting at the booth closest to the register. He was with some random girl and guy, and they seemed to be speaking in a foreign language (Spanish...maybe.) Anyway, his hair is WHITE!

Not quite the normal demo for Gawker Stalker, but I saw Charles Osgood about five minutes before noon today, walking east on W. 58th toward Seventh. He was nattily dressed, as usual, but looked cold.

I saw Al Sharpton at the LGA on Friday, Jan. 13. My girlfriend and I were enjoying our four-hour delay (the fog was thick that night, my friends), eating dinner at the Jet Rock bar and grill in the American Airlines terminal. We were patiently waiting (a while) for our meal when the good reverend walked in and sat next to us. He was accompanied by a younger woman. Sharpton started his meal with a hot tea. He asked for a burger, but the kitchen had run out of them, and incidentally, I think we got the last one! So he settled for a chicken Caesar salad. Oddly, he positioned himself in a spot where anyone walking past the restaurant could approach him. And several did. In addition to being well-dressed (nice suit, etc.), he was also really gracious to all the well-wishers who interrupted his meal he even signed someone's napkin. No idea where he was traveling to or from.

Friday night 1/13, at Level V, I saw Bachelor/Former third-string QB Jesse Palmer and some other Giants players. He is tall, very good looking, and is surprisingly friendly, dancing with everyone. Also saw him late nite eating at The Diner on the corner of 14th with a huge football player and no girls.
