The Defamer Special Real Estate Correspondent returns not with a walkthrough of an open house offering a glimpse of how the other half lives before upgrading their living quarters, but with an exciting opportunity for those employed by (or perhaps merely dabbling in) the exiting celebrity-stalking industry. Less than $5,000 per month will get you within telephoto lens range of one of the tabloids' favorite photographic subjects:

Interested in stalking Brad Pitt? If he ever comes back from France. Or Malibu. Well, now you can live right next door to Brad s original three house (and highly published) compound in the Hills of Los Feliz. And, to make things even better, can t afford the nearly $1.4 million dollar price tag? You can rent it. For just $4,500 a month. Almost any crazy person could fit a month or two of that rent on their credit cards before they max out.

Located on the only gated street in the newly hip (according to the 10 year out of date TMZ.com) Los Feliz Oaks, this three-and-two boasts traditional design and (as the signs said today) We have a yard. Might as well also said We have a really famous next door neighbor. Think about it, you might even make back that rent or mortgage renting your roof to the paparazzi so they can shoot into Brad s Jay Griffith-designed back yard. I ll spare Maddox and not publish the address or the broker, but there are enough nuggets here to find the house if you re obsessed enough to care. And that gated street entry is unlocked during open house hours. There are a couple others on the street for sale too. Just no lingering outside before 1PM, please.

Of course, we can't recommend that you rent the house solely for the purpose of turning its yard into a paparazzi farm—but if the real estate agent winks while mentioning that the property has "income potential," you'll both understand each other pretty clearly.
