In light of The Falls' bouncer Darryl Littlejohn emerging as a suspect in the murder case of Imette St. Guillen, the media has naturally turned to wondering about the nature of the "bouncing industry." Littlejohn had a criminal record and yet he was working the door; hadn't management conducted a background check? Or do venues just not care?

Any cub reporter who happens to be assigned to this story will do the natural thing: Google. A quick search for bouncer and nightlife or NYC instantly turns up Clublife, the popular life-as-a-bouncer blog written by the mononymous Rob the Bouncer. And so Rob's been fielding quite a few requests for comment (nice research skills, gang) — but, instead of dealing with the media directly, he's using his blog as his publicist and has thus posted a handy, reporter-ready bouncer/murder FAQ:

Do I have to worry about something like this every time I go out from now on?
Hell, yes.

We'll look for that quote in tomorrow's papers.
