Google on S&P 500; Larry and Sergey can finally eat out again
Occasionally, Larry and Sergey do make a little money. Lest you think the only way from the top is down, Google just picked up a nice little $25.40 per share in after-hours trading. That means Larry Page is worth $833 million more, and Sergey Brin has $812 mil more to his name.
Larry and Sergey have Standard & Poor's to thank; their little search company bumped Burlington Resources off the S&P 500 this afternoon. S&P probably owes a little apology for putting Whole Foods on the list first.
You too can obsessively track the Google guys' net worth with the Google schadenfreude calculator.
