They're Trying to Get Out, But Jason Binn Keeps Pulling Them Back In
A flustered emailer writes:
I work in a big newsroom where a lot of people get a lot of comp subscriptions. Usually, we consider this a perk of our jobs. But a coworker, upon emptying her mailbox, just came over to my desk, held up a copy of one of Jason Binn's giveaway rags, and asked, "Do you know how to get off the list for these?" If only I did.
So, is there actually any way to get rid of those? (We suspect there isn't. After the nuclear holocaust, we imagine, it'll just be bionic Dick Cheney and the cockroaches, passing the time reading Gotham.) Any tips — and also for getting off that incessant TMZ.com press-release list — would be greatly appreciated. By everyone.
