The reemergence of James Frey proceeds apace: Today he pops up in Salon as part of a feature where writers (and Mark Cuban) talk about their dream TV shows. Frey begins thusly:

"I am a consumer of television."

You may recall the beginning of Frey's recent exposition on the Browns franchise for Deadspin:

"I am 36 years old."

We don't know what exactly Oprah did to him behind closed doors, but, goddamnit, the man has learned to stick to the facts.

[FYI, if you don't want to sit through the Salon ad, and why the fuck would you, it features Bill Maher, Frey would like to see some more P.I. shows, with "ass-kicking" and, presumably, forcible root canals. We can dig it.]
