Pregnancy: A living embodiment of the miracle of life. A time of hope, fear, and promise. And, occasionally, an opportunity for one of the hackier ledes we've seen in a while. (Sadly, it's the only funny part of the story.) From yesterday's Philadelphia Daily News:

For many women, insatiable and odd cravings are a common part of pregnancy. For some, it's ice cream and pickles. For others, it's seafood and peanut butter. But when Tamika Pennington got a craving late last week, police said, it was for something a lot stronger - and illegal. Undercover narcotics cops arrested the seven-months-pregnant Pennington at 5 p.m. Friday for allegedly buying two bags of crack cocaine on 10th Street near Thompson in North Philadelphia.
