I actually agree with both IBent and Lupe. On one hand, as Lupe says, it's silly and childish to mock Liebowitz for looking the way she does, because that's how people look when they're pregnant, especially if they're 50 and not airbrushed.
On the other hand, as IBent rightly contends, it's quite reasonable to mock Liebowitz for sharing this photo of herself with the world, because really, who wants to see it? If I knew her personally, I'm sure it would be interesting or engaging in some way, or at least informational. Given that I don't know her personally, and don't really care about her in any way other than as a high-profile photographer, why would I possibly want to see her naked and pregnant?
Demi Moore, at least, was a professional naked person, so it was interesting to see her naked and pregnant.

OK, so we mock Special K for getting thousands of dollars of plastic surgery (and talking about it) to try to fight the signs of aging.
And we mock another woman for being naked and showing what age and motherhood look like.
So what are our options here? It's okay to spend thousands of dollars on surgery as long as you keep yer yap shut? Or age naturally and wear a burka?

All right, I cannot resist the siren call of Gawker to read about people being mocked, you know, for the content of their character and such, but clearly it's just better if I avoid the comment trail on anything with a woman's picture next to it.

It's a little funny to read some of these comments. Guess with all the eye gouging, we won't be reading anymore from some of these folks. I think it's a nice photo, not beautiful in the hot and sexy sense but beautiful in the expectant mother sense. BTW, before the jump, you said pubes. I don't actually see any pubes in this photo. Or are you using the word "pubes" in a way that I am unfamiliar with? I always understood pubes to mean pubic hairs of which there are none evident in this shot that I can see - hidden by the angle and the shadows.
Ummm...so what? It's a picture of a hugely pregnant lady. What's the big deal again?
