A man disrupted a comedian at the Tempe Improv this weekend, interrupting the act by throwing a metal bar at several patrons and breaking a sign before fleeing, police said.

Daniel Lepke, 30, was arrested Saturday at 11:30 p.m. after his violent outburst, which included the breaking of an Improv sign, authorities said. Police arrested Lepke on suspicion of criminal damage, assault and disorderly conduct.
