It's the end of the week; we'll have a poll up later in the day. Today's Moment comes from the News coverage of a tragic car accident in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, one of the victims was holding costume angel wings, which is the sort of manna bad writers pray for each morning when they look up to story heaven. Michael Daly sets the scene:

The trunk thumped shut and the radio car rolled away. The whole country was talking about the election and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's resignation. But on this wet stretch of Flatbush Ave. the big question concerned those white feathery wings that so mysteriously appeared as if for a little boy named Jehovah who was now with the angels.
