Coming Soon to Daytime TV: 'Nooner With Neaner'
If you want something badly enough, you'll put up with any amount of humiliation to get it: That's the lesson to be drawn from former Westchester D.A. Jeanine Pirro, who suffered through two humiliating statewide campaigns last year in which her incompetence, arrogance, colorful marital life, and association with shady underworld figure Bernard Kerik were put on display so frequently that even some of her greatest detractors had to look away. No matter. The Post is reporting that Neaner has gotten what she wanted all along:
Ex-Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro has inked a deal to host a syndicated talk show, The Post has learned. Brainy Pirro, 55, will be paid around $1 million, which is typical for a start-up talk show with unproven talent.
Pirro's deal with Warner Brothers is for an approximate one million dollars, but "she could make 15 to 20 times that much in the lucrative syndication market." Fifteen million a year? If we were Al Pirro, we'd start getting used to eating dinner alone. Or, you know, with somebody else's wife.
