After much deliberation over our photos of the prettiest people in publishing, Mr. and Mrs. BookExpo 2007 have been crowned by the people. Ladies and gentlemen, let's congratulate Braxton Robbason, who is a fiction writer and much much more, and Lauren Rosati, a curator and writer. Let's learn more about them!

According to all Googleable information, his

first published writing appeared in The Astronomical Journal. He recently switched from writing code and PowerPoint presentations for a company he co-founded to generating fiction. He takes credit for the genre moniker 'rural fabulist'.

Great, his head is in the stars, his feet in HTML and his sense of neologistic entitlement healthy.

At the tender age of 22, Lauren Rosati already has a bustling web presence. Apparently she went to the New School University where she majored in curatorial studies and minored in Asian studies. Her interests, per her MySpace page include subtlety and starkness. She also has a website that, infuriatingly, consists in its entirety of a stock photo of an elephant eating popcorn, an IM pop up window, and a geometric diagram. That is to say, she's elusive, playful, hard-to-access but easy-to-love, a cipher for youth, a beacon of hope.
