Thiel knocks down talk of a Facebook IPO, saying the company wants to wait another 18 months. But this bit, on the prospects of selling Facebook before it goes public, is classic Thiel:

If we got an offer from someone for $10 billion, we probably would listen to them. I don't think we're going to get that offer, and we're not going to solicit it.

Oh, really, Peter? Because I think you just did. Solicit it, that is.
