Apparently British tabloid journalists aren't familiar with concept of co-op boards. According to the ever-reliable News of the World, Lindsay Lohan has her heart set on an apartment in the Dakota:

The 22-year-old is said to be planning a return to her hometown by splashing out on a penthouse in the city's famous Dakota building, where late Beatle John Lennon once lived. A source tells British newspaper the News of the World, "Lindsay's had her eye on the Dakota building for years. It's an iconic building and she's not bothered about complaints from residents. She plans to make it a hotbed for parties."
