Jeremy Piven On His Mercury Poisoning: 'I'm Not a Doctor, I Don't Even Play One On TV'
A very not-mercury-poisoned-looking Jeremy Piven, who quit his high-profile Broadway show Speed-the-Plow using the old too much sushi excuse, managed to drag himself out of bed at dawn to go on Good Morning America today. Feh.
The more he doth protest, the more it is too much. He'd be better off laying low—not going to the glitzy Golden Globes then flying back across the country to do GMA. If he disappeared for a while, in stoic sickly hermitage, he could then reemerge in a few months and everyone would call him brave. Now he just seems like someone who's been caught in a really bad lie and can't backpedal, so is just stuck digging that grave deeper and deeper. It's a bit sad, really.
