Finally, the Jamaican airwaves are safe for Coldplay tunes: the government there is banning music about sex, or violence, or arson, or... basically all music.

The new rules from the Jamaican Broadcast Commission, announced on Saturday, ban any song or music video that depicts sexual acts or glorifies gun violence, murder, rape or arson.

This follows a Feb. 6 ban that targeted dance-hall tunes and videos depicting daggering, a dance style popular among Jamaican youth that features pelvic grinding simulating sex.

Haha, hmm. Can only assume quite a few drugs were involved in this decision-making process, ironically! These rules would disqualify about 2/3 of Bob Marley songs, even. And do you have any idea how hard it is to find a dancehall track that doesn't say "Fi-ya burn" somewhere in it? It's very hard.
