After reading OpenTable's definition of "Client Relations" in a web job posting, one wonders what, exactly, the internet reservations service is willing to do to get a lock on tables at top restaurants.

A prospective applicant forwarded us a link to OpenTable's listing in search of a "Client Relations Manager" in New York, pointing us specifically to the "PHYSICAL DEMANDS" section.

We have to admit, we're a bit perplexed at what sort of Client Relations involve using your "hands to finger, handle, or feel" things, or why one would need especially keen "close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus" while "interacting" with clients.

On the other hand, maybe making it in the hospitality industry requires that one assume all sorts of strange, unfamiliar positions, OpenTable's included.
