Tall buildings have always been a symbol for national pride and financial dominance. However, it takes a lot to not curl up like a baby lemur when looking out from this high.

Burj Dubai
 While this one is technically not completed, it's slated to be a great symbol of Dubai's pending financial crisis.

Taipei 101
 Fun facts: Taiwan used to be known as Formosa which is Latin for beautiful or well shaped and that is one nice view.

 When I think of China, I think AC/DC.

Petronas Towers
 Technically, Kuala Lumpur's Petronas Towers are two equally tall buildings, so we split the difference with a view from the skybridge that connects the two.

Willis Tower
 This is really the Sears Tower in Sha-caw-go, but the naming rights changed over the summer around the same time they unveiled "The Ledge," twin glass capsules that jut out of the 103rd floor. Fun fact: It is the tallest building in the United States and the observatory is featured in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

CN Tower
 The CN Tower is the only member of this list that offers a view of the Sky Dome, home of something called the Toronto Blue Jays.

Yokohama Landmark Tower
 The view from Japan's tallest building is exactly what you would expect: equally parts Sonic the Hedgehog level and, more buildings.

Empire State Building
 Immortalized on book covers and in romance movies the world over, the Empire State Building provides a great view of more interesting buildings.

Jin Mao Tower
 Shanghai's Jin Mao Tower features unique aluminum alloy latticework which has made it a target for urban climbers. Spikes have been installed to "deter" them.

Tokyo Tower
 This one is just pretty lookin' and pretty soundin'.
