Yes, it's the hypocrisy story that everyone, except the governments concerned, saw coming. Local limo firms confirm to the Daily Telegraph in Britain that only five of the cars are electric or alternative fuel, and that the French are particularly profligate with their limo-hiring. Naturellement.

Meanwhile, with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Helena Christensen and Prince Charles jetting in, there are so many private planes that some will have to park in Sweden. (Interestingly Darryl Hannah is also in attendance — let's hope it's because she was a mermaid in Splash and intends to sit on a rock in the harbor and reprise the role.)
