Looks like the fashionistas will be stepping out tonight in their uncomfortable shoes. After a false alarm, we have it from a reliable source that the real, top-secret Vogue holiday party is tonight. Plus, Elle.

The Vogue party is being held at the super swank club with the super dumb name: The Boom Boom Room in the Standard Hotel (848 Washington St.), which opened in September and has since been the site of high fashion shindigs:

The Boom Boom Room has been coined the "new Studio 54", and is so exclusive that the A.V. club writes "it makes you hate nightlife." Despite a rough year for Conde, looks like Vogue is not skimping on the holiday fete.

The Elle party is at the Simyone Lounge (409 W. 14th St.), whose website assaults you with moving images and sound in an annoying way:

A tipster also tells us an Elle "unofficial after party" will be in the lounge at 5 Ninth (5 9th Ave.)

We're guessing the unofficial after party is the most crashable. Not that we would ever encourage anyone to do anything like that. (HERE IS A GUIDE. TAKE A LOT OF PICTURES.)
