Rep. Steve King on illegal Haitian immigrants: "If they are deported, Haiti is in great need of relief workers, and many of them could be a big help to their fellow Haitians." Maybe Royal Caribbean will give them a ride?

The Iowa Republican's response to Obama's decision to temporarily halt the deportation of Haitians (on account of Haiti being a little, you know, at capacity) appears to have missed point:

Illegal immigrants from Haiti have no reason to fear deportation, but if they are deported, Haiti is in great need of relief workers, and many of them could be a big help to their fellow Haitians.

He then added, "We could also feed the homeless to the hungry. Two birds with one stone, booyah!"
