The trailer to Seth Grahame-Smith's novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter may have used the Civil War as an allusion to vampire-hunting, but we can't help but think it still looks pretty great.

In this week's Time, Magicians author and man I'm desperately trying to hunt down for a coffee date Lev Grossman decried over-doing the whole lit-cum-horror pulp thing. But I still got a rush of patriotic pride watching the 16th president hack up what I can only assume is vampire-James Wilkes Boothe.
