Indra Nooyi is the chairman and chief executive officer of PepsiCo, and has been ranked as one of the most powerful women in the world by Forbes magazine.

Born in Chennai, India, Nooyi moved to the U.S. to get her MBA from Yale before taking a job at the prestigious consulting firm BCG. Following stints at Motorola and Asea Brown Boveri, in 1994 she joined Pepsi as head of their strategy group. In 2001, Nooyi was promoted to CFO, where she increased the company's revenue by 72% and doubled profits. Nooyi was appointed CEO in 2006, and has since expanded the company's global reach, focusing on market growth in Middle East, India, and China, and increasing the brand's health-conscious products.

In addition to overseeing the second largest food and beverage company in the world, Nooyi serves on the board of several influential organizations, including the World Economic Forum, International Rescue Committee, and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

Nooyi is married to Rajkishan ("Raj"), a software engineer. They have two daughters, Pritha and Tara, and live in Greenwich, Connecticut.
