Joanna Molloy produced the long-running Daily News gossip column "Rush and Molloy" alongside her third husband, George Rush.

Bronx born Molloy met George Rush in 1986 at the New York Post, where Joanna was a co-editor of Page Six after years at New York's Intelligencer. A gossip columnists' dream, the gossip-hounding pair wed in 1992 and brought their joint column to the Daily News the following year. Known for their "integrity" within the gossip world, the decline of print journalism forced them to cut their commentaries from five days a week to just Sundays. After fifteen years with column, breaking stories from Marilyn Monroe's affair with JFK to Michael Jackson's predilection for his monkey, Bubbles, the pair left the Daily News in 2010, though a column bearing their name lives on.
