A regular at black-tie events around town, Jamee Gregory is an author, contributing editor to Elle Décor, and columnist for a collection of society magazines.

Chicago native Gregory once planned parties for Sotheby's as the auction house's director of special events. These days she wiles away her days as a writer: She's a contributing editor to Elle Décor, pens pieces for brainless socialite rags like Quest, and co-authored a 2005 coffee table book entitled New York Apartments, which featured photos of luxe abodes owned by the likes of Joan Rivers, Georgette Mosbacher, and Carroll Petrie. (Publishers Weekly described the book as "a bit like watching several back-to-back episodes of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.") She's best known, though, for her presence on the charity circuit. Organizations that Gregory are involved with include Memorial Sloan-Kettering, the Central Park Conservancy, and the Boys' Club of New York.

Jamee is married to Peter Gregory, the brother of André Gregory, who wrote/produced the classic film My Dinner with André. They have one daughter, publicist/socialite Samantha Gregory. The couple live on Park Avenue and spend weekends in Southampton. [Image via Getty]
