Janice Huff
Huff monitors the slush and sunshine as the weekday meteorologist for WNBC.
Although she was born in NYC, Huff was raised by her grandparents in South Carolina. A meteorology major at Florida State University, she began her broadcasting career in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She's hopped from Columbus, Georgia, St. Louis, San Francisco, and finally landed in New York in 1995, where she has been ever since, at WNBC. Although she may be best known for her meteorological prowess, she's also known for her philanthropic pursuits, such as hosting "Wednesday's Child", a weekly adoption feature, and dedicating her time to New York City's Foster Care children.
