Set in 1983, This is England follows a troubled 11-year-old boy as he deals with the death of his father and falls in with a group of older skinheads.

As he transforms into a Doc Martin wearing, fag smoking rebel, our young protagonist is forced to reckon with the troubling political climate of his country and the infighting punks around him.

@Twink182: Yeah, it was a few weeks ago they recommended "Man on Wire". It was pretty good.

Except for the well known movies, its difficult for me to find some really good ones they stream. I look forward to these recommendations each week.

Like almost every good movie, the music adds so much.

Wow, it was really intense. Never really seen a movie such as this in England before. Kind of changes how you see the world a little.

Thank you you recommending it, glad I spent the time to watch it.

A really good movie. I watched it around the time I watched Green Street Hooligans, and I liked This Is England better.
