A former model and flight attendant, Grace Hightower is the second wife of Robert De Niro and the mother of De Niro's son, Elliot, and daughter, Helen.

Although Hightower got her start as a model when she was noticed by a scout in her flight attendant garb for TWA, her life dramatically changed in 1987 when she met Robert De Niro in London. Tying the knot ten years later, the couple's early marital woes were a hot tabloid topic, when De Niro filed for divorce in 1999 and sued Hightower for custody of their son in 2001. However, the two worked things out, and by 2004 the divorce was dropped and they renewed their vows. Since then, Hightower has gotten involved in the film world like her hubby, appearing in and providing the song "Somethin's Comin' My Way" to the soundtrack for the film Precious, directed by Lee Daniels. She's also become a bit of a socialite in her own right, as her 55th birthday party/gala was even covered in Vogue by André Leon Talley. [Image via Getty]
