Those Crappy Horns Might Get Banned from the World Cup
The BBC and other TV stations who broadcast World Cup games are receiving a flurry of complaints from viewers about that shitty horn, the vuvuzela, that's drowning out the tournament. Players are complaining too. Tournament officials are considering a ban.
World Cup organizing committee chief executive Danny Jordaan told The Guardian that if there are "grounds to do so," like vuvuzelas being thrown onto the field or constantly being played during national anthems, then a total ban could be enforced. French captain Patrice Evra told the BBC that, "We can't sleep at night because of the vuvuzelas. People start playing them from 6am. We can't hear one another out on the pitch because of them." While that may also be an excuse for being unable to score against Uruguay, teams are getting fed up nonetheless, and rightfully so.
Please ban these shitty horns, Mr. Jordaan. They suck. You can vote for or against the vuvuzela here.
