Jin Hua Cui, a 44-year-old Queens woman, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with running a sex slavery ring. Her alleged victims were young Korean women, forced into prostitution at massage parlors on Long Island.

How are you feeling about the universe right now? Pretty good? Maybe don't read this, then. According to police, Cui would put ads in Korean-language newspapers advertising jobs in nail salons. When young women responded, she would threaten or coerce them into prostitution at massage parlors in Huntington Station and Hicksville—parlors with signs that said "Stimulus Plan" and "Asian Bodywork." Cui kept the $60 to $80 fees herself and gave the women she abused only the tips.

Suffolk County cops arrested her at her Flushing mansion, where they found "thousands of condoms" and "slinky lingerie." Her neighbors told the New York Daily News they were baffled: "You hardly ever saw her, but if she is running a sex ring, I guess she's been busy," said Barbara Orlowski.
