Sultry temptress Terry Gross hosts Fresh Air, a weekly interview show where she invites guests into her boudoir and reviews new sex toys with them. At least, this is how Mississippi Public Broadcasting's executive director sees the show.

A mildly naughty interview with comedian Louis CK got Fresh Air pulled from Mississippi Public Broadcasting's lineup this week. After the blogosphere exploded in outrage, MPB's executive director, Dr. Judith Lewis, issued this statement explaining the move:

Mississippi Public Broadcasting strives to deliver educational, informative, and meaningful content to its listeners. After careful consideration and review we have determined that Fresh Air does not meet this goal over time. Too often Fresh Air's interviews include gratuitous discussions on issues of an explicit sexual nature. We believe that most of these discussions do not contribute to or meaningfully enhance serious-minded public discourse on sexual issues. Our listeners who wish to hear Fresh Air may find it online.

Terry Gross, when will you stop corrupting our children with your filthy discussions of blues legend Freddie King and cartoon voice actor Billy West?
