Hey, pull up your pickup and sit on this hay bale and listen to ol' windswept Gwyneth Paltrow sing you a country ballad. It's called "Country Strong", and is from her new movie of the same name.

The movie used to be called Love Don't Let Me Down, which was a way better title, but oh well. Gwyneth is, urgh, frustratingly competent at pulling out the twangs and caterwauls required for a good sun-setting-over-flat-big-land country ballad, mostly because everything that Gwyneth Paltrow does is perfect and unimpeachable and she will forever reign and shine as our dual Sun/Moon goddess, hailing from her ambrosia-dipped palace in the pristine pearl of London. Ain't nothin' more country than that.
