Larry Ellison has had it: The Oracle CEO is flame-mailing journalists left and right this week in what looks increasingly like an online rampage. He might be worth $28 billion, but that doesn't mean Ellison has to take your crap.

In his latest email, reproduced below, Ellison calls a Fortune writer a "scum bag" for resurfacing an old sexual harassment lawsuit. The business software honcho's online spree started Monday with an "impassioned" email to the New York Times, in which Ellison blasted the board of Hewlett Packard for firing the company's CEO after a scandal involving false expense reports and sexual harassment allegations. You could practically see the beads of sweat and clenched jaw as Ellison angrily typed, "The H.P. board just made the worst personnel decision since the idiots on the Apple board fired Steve Jobs many years ago."

Today Ellison aimed his e-cannon at Fortune's Philip Elmer-DeWitt, who compared HP's apparently tight corporate standards on romance to those at Oracle, where Ellison has kept on COO Charles Phillips despite a big embarrassing scandal over Phillips' longtime affair and double life, and where Ellison is said to have simultaneously juggled romantic entanglements with three of his own employees.

Ellison was upset that Elmer-DeWitt mentioned a sexual harassment suit from one employee, a suit in which, as Elmer-DeWitt noted, Ellison prevailed.

His email, titled "Hey Jerk," has been appended to Elmer-DeWitt's original post as an update:

From: Larry Ellison
Subject: Hey Jerk
Date: August 11, 2010 1:00:55 PM EDT
To: PHILIP ELMER-DEWITT

Adelyn Lee went to jail for a year for falsely accusing me of sexual harassment. Why did you leave that out of your story you scum bag? Let me guess … your job is telling half-truths. Fortune Magazine must be very proud of you.

This is where we'd suggest Ellison route these "corrections" through his publicist, if we weren't so interested in seeing him shoot off more of them.
