People outside of the Midwest may not know what a Juggalo is. Trust us, they are amazing creatures. But was microcelebrity Tila Tequila really attacked at the Gathering of the Juggalos in Illinois with piss, shit and bricks last night?

TMZ spoke with Tila, who offered this account of what happened last night at the 11th annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Cave In Rock, Illinois where she was supposed to "perform":

I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, DUDES were throwing HUGE STONE ROCKS in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair on fire cuz they threw fire crackers on stage, and they even took the sh*t out of the port-0-potty and threw sh*t and piss at me when I was onstage."

Okay, that's disgusting. So far it's difficult to confirm whether the attack really happened, and Tila has been known to make things up in the past. But one Juggalo had this to say:

Juggalos are the die hard followers of Michigan "rap" group Insane Clown Posse, and the Gathering of the Juggalos is their yearly blowout party. The blog Tila's Rotspot writes that Juggalos were anticipating Tila's "performance" and planned to greet her with shit and piss. TMZ has photos, provided by Tila, that show her bloody and bruised. But still, who knows? For one thing, it's hard to imagine that making up a story about being covered in shit and piss by people in clown makeup would really advance your career. Then again, we're talking about Tila Tequila here. We'll update this important story as more information becomes available.
