A Florida man was arrested for twice "friending" his estranged wife on Facebook in violation of a domestic protection order. So not worth it. And there's no way she'd "friend" back given what the guy wrote on his wall.

Sorry, Harry Bruder, but calling someone a "lying emotionally disturbed woman" is not the best way to draw her into your network, even if she is technically your wife. But Bruder went ahead and "friended" anyway, and The Smoking Gun reports the 57-year-old subsequently admitted his online overtures to police and was taken into custody. Bruder said he was upset about having to attend court-ordered counseling. Nevertheless, he might consider setting up some sort of group therapy session with that Tennessee woman recently jailed for Facebook "poking" another woman, and that British man arrested for friending his soon-to-be-ex wife in 2007. Maybe on Skype or something; Facebook is probably best avoided.
